At Tabteen & Corrosion Prevention Technologies Company (Tabteen CPT) we are committed to cutting greenhouse gas emissions to as close to zero as possible. To achieve our net-zero ambitions, the management at Tabteen CPT has produced a four-point action plan as part of its ongoing responsibility towards tackling climate change.

Project overview:

1.    Carbon credits will be purchased to offset CO2 emissions under the careful guidance of CNaught. Tabteen CPT will be supporting green initiatives such as Charm Industrial’s Bio-oil Sequestration venture and mangrove restoration projects.

2.    The company will be investing in low-carbon and renewable energy technologies in our production processes.

3.    Priority will be given to suppliers that use sustainable social and environmental practices, in order to reach our objective of creating a green supply chain.

4.    The Plant a Tree initiative has been approved by company directors and will involve employees planting trees at our production plant and project work sites inside Saudi Arabia, with the aim of offsetting GHG emissions that have been produced within the organisation.

Sustainability is a key part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, as the Kingdom strives towards a Net Zero future by 2060. Tabteen CPT supports ambitious reforms to transition to a green economy.
